I remember this type of Antologies when I was a Kid... , with nice stories with an END, may be a "to be continued" one... ( well not in this case, to be continued was forviden at POP GUN ) .Finaly they make those antologies again, which is a nice thing for sure. Long life the short story!

Y como decía por ahí arriba, por fin me han publicado, COÑO.
Nada mas & nada menos que la gente de Image comics, que amablemente me han invitado a participar en esta tremenda antología de 471 paginas.
Repleta de historias cortas, esta antología me recuerda a aquellas Cimoc, con historias magníficas con gran final. ( He dicho me recuerda, que para mi CIMOC también es insuperable, hombre)

Y para celebrarlo, cuelgo unas cuantas cositas, paneles y páginas de mi contribución ( 18 páginas a todo color! )

For this ones I was using some of the distinctive and nutty lines of Mr. Alan Kerswell.
The team and atmosphere in the studio was really amazing.

Life Painting Competition Cronicles...in Gran Canaria

Nowadays in Spain there are many Life Painting Competition. A great way to keep alive this fantastic way of painting and also a nice excuse to spend some hours on Saturday.

I did take part on one in Gran Canaria during our last visit to our friends Fedra and Gareth.

On this particular competitions there are some basic rules:
The painting has to be done between 10:00h till 13:00h and has to be from life.

As I did win La Caja De Canarias award I'll post how it was the day.

Huge thanks to Marvelus,( alias Pachu) , Fedra and Garteh, the great models.

En la última visita que hicimos a Fedra y Gareth a Gran Canaria, tuve la grata sorpresa de toparme con un cartel que anunciaba un concurso de pintura rápida. Modalidad que me encanta.
Aquí las crónicas de lo que pasó...y me llevé un premio muy majo!

Las reglas para este concurso eran simples ( aparte de otras...)

Pintar de 10:00 a 13:00 y pintar del natural.

Gracias una y otra vez a Marvelita, Fedra y Gareth, que aguantaron las tres horas que duró la pintura posando y posandolo bien.
